Sérgio Goulart Machado

Sérgio Goulart Machado has over 20 years of experience in the energy and mobility sectors having played a diversified set of roles. Sérgio is current the Head of Hydrogen in Galp, where he is setting-up a new business at the core of Energy Transition. Before that Sérgio held a variety of positions, including the role of Head of Global Business Development, where he has been responsible for several large-scale asset acquisitions for Galp’s Upstream portfolio, and before that in Corporate Strategy, Gas & Power, Renewables and Innovation. Sérgio has been board member of several companies participated by Galp. He has also served as Advisor of the Secretary of State for Transports and Communications in Portugal. Sérgio holds a degree in Economics by Nova School of Business and Economics.
